The above pictures are from Little Moreton Hall, Astbury, Congleton. They show what could be two barrows in the grounds of this lovely timber manor house.
The first four pictures show the suspected barrow in the car park area, whereas picture five shows one which is situated in the grounds to the left of the house over the moat.
It is not known for definate whether these are real barrows or not as no archeaological dig has been undertaken. They do though show a very close similarity to many other round barrows across the country.
