Stonehenge:  This is probably the most well know pre-historic stone circle in the world.  This site is very popular with all tourists and does get very crowded.

The pictures above are a selection which we have made to give you the best overall view of everything from some of the barrows (Picture 21), the trench surrounding Stonehenge (Pictures 11, 14 & 15) , close up of some stones (Pictures 1, 5, 19, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29 & 30)  and the full glory of the site itself.

It is itself a very imposing and worthwhile site to visit, even with the masses.  For further information about opening times please visit the English Heritage website for Stonehenge listed above.
