DRUIDIC ORDERS

Druidic Orders? Are they good or are they bad? Should we trust them, or are they automatically considered suspicious?

The good. To say all Druidic Orders are bad is to say that all churches are bad, all clubs are bad, all groups of people with basic rules and a shared belief, are bad. It is also true that a group of people can do something more efficiently than one person. They can also safeguard one person from growing to powerful. It is safer for an Order to protect the books of Atlantis than one person. Outsiders also are more likely to take them seriously if there is an Order. Also, if one of your Brothers or Sisters gets hurt or sick, they are more likely to get better if an entire group is trying to help. Also, if there is a group of Druids, there can be division-of-labor, or equally divided tasks for people to do. One can be a healer, one the leader, one the scribe, and one can go out and get new members. Also, people are more likely to ally to a group than one person, feeling safe in numbers. Druidic Orders would seem to be a very good thing looking at these facts.

The bad. Druidic Orders have some bloodied and dark pasts. One leader of a Druid Group was a pervert, and would get innocent young Druid women into bed with him because it would “please the gods and ancestors”. Needless to say, he was assassinated. Orders have also silenced outgoing Druids, killed necromancers, demons that meant no harm, and they also feel they are supreme. Before my eyes were open to the truth, they taught me that Druids are the highest kind of man, and all regular man is below us, and we are to protect them from themselves. While the latter part is true, by no means are we far superior. Another personal example, I have lots of passion and a fury deep inside me I was practically born with, and they wanted to subdue and eliminate both my passion and my fury, saying it will be my downfall. Now, people say my passion will make me stronger than most, and my fury can be channeled to something good. Now there is an order who has threatened my life, but back to objective. One Druidic Order went renegade long ago. They are still a danger to us, no longer Druids (only in their minds), but still very dangerous. Druidic Orders seem to be mind controlling like religion (not meant in offence). One young man close to my age said in a few years he would be an elder and that was customary in his Order. An elder at 21? Maybe Orders aren’t doing any good anymore.

Obviously the bad is easier to talk about than the good. But both sides make very good arguments. So, Druidic Orders, good, or bad? I’ll leave that for you to decide. I think, looking at both sides, a Druidic Order can still be established for the good, but I also feel a third party needs to watch over and make sure things don’t get out of hand, but then I also don’t believe in initiation. I would say, be cautious of all Orders, but leave an open mind, there might still be one trying to help for the better, they are just not discovered yet.

AFTER WORD

I Sage Rob believe that most orders are fine, but please remember to check these out before joining.  This article by High Priestess Sarah Goettge is not here to attack Druids but to point out that there are those who claim to be these, but in reality do not know much about this or any other area.  There is generally a minority that are in effect bad groups, but as I have stated earlier these are few and far between.  Most knowledge on this or many other areas should first be learned by yourself, and then when the time is right you will find the correct tutor for further advancement.  A final word on this is that there are those out there who will use groups or orders to their own evil ends, so be wary!
