DESERT RITE OF PASSAGE

In the light of dawn. It rises to 120 degrees. In the dark of the moon…it drops to 40 degrees. Here holds the most dangerous of demons, the nightmares of women. Here lies the very battlefield of the last of the Last 5 Cataclysmic Events of the Druidic Prophecy. Here lies our great King, Azazel. This desert, so dangerous, you can die from hallucinations alone. Just sand? Or is something more? Out of request of my good fellow pagans, I have written an article of a rite of passage that has been lost to the sand’s moans, that is taking new birth, new lives.

Long before the Romans ever diseased this earth, and long before Druids carved staves into the sacred stones, there was a place known by one name: Atlantis. Archeologists will argue that this rite of passage never happened, and I will argue with you that it was not the high priests. You have to be a high priest to survive it. Your mental capacity has to above human standard to live. After Atlantis fell to its own demises, Ancient Egypt tried to ban this rite of passage from continuing, but no one knows why. There has been recorded times when a Celtic priest or priestess would try it. But only 10 have succeeded since Atlantis fell.

What could be this rite of passage that could be so horrible? I’ll explain it to you very simply. 120 degrees in the day, 40 degrees at night, Azazel quietly slumbers under you. You cannot sleep; you can only regenerate your mind. You can never be unguarded. You are alone saving for a few nomads helping you survive the physical part of the journey. Why aren’t the affected? No one knows…some say they have grown immunity. some say they have made a truce with the desert. Pzuzu watches you waiting to suck you up in a sandstorm. Those who live in the sand prick you all night and all day. You can never turn back; you must make it or death. You risk being poisoned by scorpion or snake. For those of us that are water signs, simply, you are in the desert, far from your haven, constant hallucinations. Hallucinations 10x worse than the best LSD. Do you understand now?

To put it in coherent words you can understand it is like this: The desert is the most dangerous place in the world, especially for women. The demons there are the most powerful in the world. Pzuzu is alone dangerous enough. The gods cannot save you, the goddesses cannot save you, and prayers have no effect. You are so out of your mind it is hard enough to put regeneration on yourself. No one is allowed to bring your dead body back from the desert. Oh, and did I mention hallucinations.

The purpose of this barbaric rite of passage is to become something so few become. If you survive Azazel’s desert, you can literally survive anything. No one can imagine what is like because it has been 500 years since the last person that survived. The last person surviving was a Celtic Druid Priestess. All that is known of her, is when she went home, she left her order and said she had to go, and she was never seen again. This is a miraculous act, for the desert is a nightmare for women. Women are stronger magickally, but they are more at threat. There are things worse than death for a young woman. So is it true? We don’t know the document was damaged in an Order battle.

There are five of us that are training rite now to take this journey. Some know they won’t make it, they started training at to old of an age. But they are going still. I am one of them. If you are interested in this old ritual contact me at admin@orrar.net and I will tell you all I know. One quick tip is eat, sleep, and breathe the desert. Learn all you can, the physical as well as the spiritual side. Learn all you can of the Djinn and the Underworld. And you must remember; if you die there no one will know. Your dead body must be left there or your dead body will bring plague upon the land (And yes, this is how demonologists think the Bubonic Plague was started). But I suggest if you truly want to do this you make it known so people can harden you up for it. Because its not just a raw piercing to prove you can take it, nor is it jumping over fire or killing an elephant. Oh, and everyone you know will try to stop you. because it is suicide. I can guarantee you will die if you try it, but for some of us, we are motivated by something inside of us, so death is too far away to see.
