ACTIONWe are standing at the most pivotal & influential age
of our time, and the choices we make NOW will have
powerful & far-reaching consequences.
We must all make up our minds to gather together with
an open & accepting attitude--an attitude which while
allowing everyone the freedom to follow their own
spiritual path, will not allow negative, selfish
actions which can only bring harm to oneself & more
importantly; the people, plants, animals, & planet we
all live with.
Too long have we stood idly by, watching the choices
others make & seeing the consequences unfold; lying in
wait in the hope that some day all would be well.
Here we stand, in a world divided by chaos &
corruption, knowing that it does not have to be this
way.
We must decide to act, and help those around us as
best we can; so that all will see our desire for
chance, our desire for a better and more harmonious
world in which all may live in true peace.
I'm not by any means saying we should start some sort
of confrontation or any violent act--history has shown
us how violence begets only violence, & chaos more
chaos.
At the same time, we cannot be timid. A humble spirit
is good & right in respect to the Divine, but all
Great Teachers have shown the courage to ACT. To lead
not only by their shining examples, but to tell
everyone of our own great potential. Our own ability
for Enlightenment. Our own right to peace & harmony.
We can still achieve Balance in the world, we can
still bring the world into Harmony, we can still show
the world the unending, unchanging, all-including Love
which flows from the Divine. But we must decide Here
and Now to Act.
In the words of Rage Against the Machine, "It has to
start somewhere, it has to start sometime. What better
place than here? What better time than now?"
