A Storm is Brewing

A storm is brewing. I can see the clouds darkening, the first time we began arguing. I saw the lightning flash the moment the first judgment came up and we evaluated our experience. When I tried to make myself right and you wrong, I felt my thoughts of spereration. In the moment I felt attacked, by your words, I have lost my connection and I get swept up by the storm and ensnared within the jackel's mouth.
The storm is coming; where are you? Are you in the current, the movement of the storm, or are you in the calm center of the "I"? It is easy to get caught in the storm. Conflict is a second away and it only takes one thought of seperation to disconnect us from our center. The only way to peace, is however, through embracing the conflict.
Being in the storm is ok. Being in the "I" is ok. To see one is to see the other and to fight the storm is to feed and empower it. Walking in a dark alley, in the super market, stuck in rush-hour traffic, life presents us with many opportunities for creating peace, through conflicts. As soon as I give you my power, I try to make you responsible for my experience, for why my life isn't going how I want it to, for my pain and hurt, I don't see your sinlessness... or my own sinlessness. I don't know that, no one is against me.
