Raw Magick

Many people never start or only dabble with magick because of their complexity. Many say it takes too much time or the time it takes is not worth it. These people also, most of the time, make magick over complex. Most books have people doing things that the author deems and requires, but for the individual user is worthless. Most teachers can only teach what they have learned themselves. The path of magick is a path that must be taken alone, though from time to time we meet others and share our time with them. Most magick users use what they see as old magicks. but few really see that most are not old at all. I have asked myself a time or too "what magick did whatever make us use?"

I have found my answer. that answer is magick, nothing else. we over think things into taboo and ritual. magick is nothing more than the will and power to go with it. most ritualistic magicks (in my eyes ALL ritualistic magicks) are mostly the human mind making stuff to make it feel more prestigious. many cannabis smokers make more and more elaborate smoking mechanisms to the point that none of them work but just look fancy. many drinkers have odd machines to house and to drink alcohol.

Everyone who has taken the time to learn quabalistic systems and has the money to buy all the fancy stuff to summon stuff can go right ahead. But for the average pagan or magician that stuff is a novelty. Truth is, anything worth doing is free. I have not spent a dime on anything I NEED to practice. sure I have some tarot cards and a pendulum, and those are for fun. We are magick, some have developed it further than others. the practicing of magick is just that, practice. reading a book on magicks, things like others book of shadows and grimoires, are wasting their time. summoning is the easiest thing on earth to do. calling your friend and asking him or her to come over is summoning. the same is for astral entities, just call them too you. Book of shadows are made by people and are usually meant only for those people, so go out and make your own.

Raw magick, any powerful magick is just thought. thought is what makes us individuals. thought is what makes us a mob. magick is thought, thoughts are magick. most must add power to thought to make it into something a bit more powerful than normal thought (due to lack of mystical development). Then some add taboo to thought and rituals to thought. I have never seen anyone banish thoughts, nor ritualize them. So why would we do so too magicks? Why would we make stuff more complex for no reason.

Everyone does magick, even Christians, even atheists. Prayer is a magick, getting someone to do something against there will is magick. Politicians get people to vote people they think as poor choices into president hood, this is magick. Doctors get patients to go to them regularly, against the patients will, this is magick. Most of us practice magick without knowing it.
